liked it

so you did get some controversial reviews.. that's only fair. I really didn't know what to expect and hoped for some funny and happy conclusion (like a big "Birthday-Cake" was knocking and scaring all the time an then shows up and explodes into a big Birthday Party with... dunno.. Sonic and Mario ?!)
what i want to say is you had the tension right but i was never sure what happens next.. so in my oppinion:
Friggn Rainbow-Anime-Animals is juuuust fine, liked it a lot :-)

did everyone see the 2 kissing in the end? haha i think it was a very funny thing to watch and i'm gonna have a good look at my first beer tonight :-)
Also: What was that song? You know when you hear ist and you KNOW that you have heard it a million times before in an actual Videogame.. but i just cant put my finger on it.. which game is it? FinalFantasy maybe?

hmm

actually the Magnet-thing took me by surprise.. can't remember that i saw something similar so far here in NG.. nice little play. And the Bounce-Engine of the Ball was very smooth.. keep up, do better graphix and maybe theres going to be a nice little ~real~ game someday. keep it up!

pretty sweet

It has everthing a mouse-pointer game needs, and i like the idea of different settings. Overall the graphics are nice and the last level made me laugh.
Allthough you should prevent "right click".. its early in the morning and my hand is shaky (coffee) and so i just fast-clicked through the levels speedrun-like with the right mouse button..
update and its an overall nothing-new-but-okay game

absolute crisp production and mastering. you had me fell in love when you flipped to 4/4 at 1:00... but aaargh why just only a loop, this drum-twisting would burn every dancefloor.

uh did i mention the nice layering of the reece... mmmh you rock man, absolutely loving it!

nicely done

first: the EQing does it perfectly, nice work there, i knida understand what the guy below me meant with "Reverb".. i think the Drums are somewhat not cut short enough or something.. Cut down Sustain a bit maybe.. but this is personal habbit i think. What i ABSOLUTELY didn't like was this one Snare-like sound, it reminded me somewhat of a "metronome" i had back in Piano-Classes.. sounds like the Tick in Reason a bit.
and one last critic.. the harmony between the Beats and the Instruments and Pads doesn't really work IMO.. The Atmo is very tragic and slow paced and suddenly there comes this fast-paced, overpitched and holded Drumsequence which is (and therefore i like the tune) absolutely wiiiickeeeeeeed!!
You did a really good job an frickelin' those Beats together, the whole way to the climax is well done (at around 1:30) but then the Breakdown totally ruins it, since there is nothing that kinda "holds" against the Drum-overload.. you know what i mean? maybe a fast-paced syncopic Synthline or something like that.
Anyway, nice work!!!

I hear exactly what you're talking about during the breakdown. I was just doing the drums myself and added a reese over the very end. Though in all honesty I was still very impressed with the way that Cymbal:symbol handled the music. But there is definately more than could have been done. The reverb on the drums i'm figuring out is due to the highs. The hats and crashes aren't set to cut as soon as they are untriggered. If you send me a private message I can email you the reason file so you can take a look at it.
